Extraordinary machine
A compaq Evo N610c notebook came into my possession in 2008 when it was 5 or 6 years old and I already had another computer as my daily driver. I spent a couple bucks to get the W200 wireless module and a ram upgrade gave it an old hard disk I had lying around and if I didn't already have a newer laptop I would just use the Evo. It has unbelievable battery life a brilliant screen capable of 1400 by 1050 resolution very useful shortcut keys and buttons and countless other features. I truly believe it was designed better than my newer laptop... The hinge isn't too stiff or too loose it has very easy access to ram HDD and the multibay etc. I would recommend this laptop to anyone and with XP pro 1.25g of ram and integrated wireless it is just as capable in today's business world as it was in 2002.

Great Laptop!This is a great laptop for the price. It functions beautifully for basic use (school work surfing the web etc.). I have had absolutely no trouble with mine and would highly recommend this product to everyday users.
I've seen a couple of bad reviews simply because users purchased this computer with the intent to make it their "gaming" computer and then were disappointed with the outcome. Check the specs and your game requirements first. If you truly want a gaming computer you probably shouldn't be looking at Laptops in the first place.
It's a great computer at a reasonable price. If you just need something for work school and surfing the web it's perfect.

Review of Laptop I bought
I've had problems with the laptop several times since I recieved it. Sometimes it will not come on whether the power cord is plugged in or not. And then sometimes it'll come on just fine. I'd say I've had this problem at least 3 times. I don't understand this problem I would like it fixed whatever it takes as long as it doesn't cost me anymore.
